As you may know Facebook does NOT give you a secure connection by default. Unlike Google apps where you can just enter it as https://gmail.com and you have a secure link, doing so for Facebook doesn’t work. Facebook will return you back to a normal http link.
These following steps are how you tell Facebook to use https as the default connection to your browser.
1. Click on your “Account” menu found in the upper right corner of your Facebook page.
2. Click on “Account Settings” which opens this screen
3. Scroll down until you find the “Account Security” and click the “change” link
4. Click on the check box to use the “https” security
5. Then click the Save button and all is done. You will now have secure sessions with Facebook.
Enjoy!
